The world continues to face difficult challenges every year, and these crises that affect millions make societies even more vulnerable. The year 2024 was also a year for
the world in which we faced different challenges and struggled to meet the most urgent needs amidst indescribable suffering.
As Yeryüzü Doktorları, we have been acting
with the awareness of serving the humanity regardless of religion, language or race,
since the first day we were founded. We
work to provide people in the grip of difficult conditions such as war, disaster, hunger and poverty, with health care services,
regardless of the circumstances.
In our journey that started many years ago
with a group of volunteer healthcare professionals, today we are happy to reach more
than 20 million people in need, thanks to
our more than 45 thousand volunteers. We
share the joy of tens of thousands of mothers and children who have held on to the
life again with our nutrition treatments to
fight against hunger, and the excitement of
hundreds of thousands of cataract patients
who have started to look at the world with
hope again with our cataract surgeries. We
work under great risks, facing the challenging landscapes of the world, without expecting anything in return.
In the upcoming years, we will continue
to walk on this path of goodness with the
same determination and to work to heal
many more lives with your support. We
would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to all our donors and volunteers who
have supported us throughout this process.
We provided health care services to
more than 20 million people.

4.3. YOUNG DOCTORS WORLDWIDE
Yeryüzü Doktorları has already reached out to hundreds of thousands of people with the support of those who
set their heart on goodness, and managed to make the world a better place thanks to these kind hearts. Volunteer support, which has become an indispensable part of this movement of goodness, means to run to the
rescue of those in need, whether they be elders or minors, and to gratuitously share competencies, experience,
and time. Having grown in this sense every passing day with its volunteers giving support in many different
ways, whether it be through participation in volunteer medical teams, fund raising for the activities that are
carried out, or conducting promotional activities, the Yeryüzü Doktorları volunteer family reached out to 49
thousand 648 people by the end of 2024.
Young Doctors Worldwide (Young DWW) are the volunteers of Yeryüzü Doktorları who receive education
in various departments of universities, including in particular the medical specialization areas. Young DWW
organize trainings, seminars and conferences and conduct projects on volunteering basis for the purpose of
spreading humanitarian aid and social responsibility awareness in university communities.
Young Doctors Worldwide carried out 352 activities in 55 universities throughout 2024.
